Die letzten Wochen, eine Bestandsaufnahme

Angie Radtke und NRW Justizminister Thomas KutschatyIn den letzen Wochen und Monaten ist viel passiert. Ich war auf der Cebit. Dort wurde die neuen Seite der Justiz NRW, an der ich nicht ganz unbeteiligt war, online geschaltet. Ich habe mich hier um die Gestaltung und das Logo gekümmert.

Dann gab es noch das ein oder andere Projekt und erst gestern habe die letzen Zeilen meines Joomla! Templates – Buches geschrieben.
So langsam wird es wieder ruhiger.

Joomla 1.6

Joomla 1.6 ist jetzt schon 10 Tage alt und es sind die ersten Kritiken online zu lesen.

Auf netzwelt.de wird besonders der HTML-Output gelobt.

Welcher Grafiker kennt es nicht… Das vorhandene Bildmaterial entspricht nicht unseren gestalterischen Vorstellungen. Zu weilen befinden sich auf den Fotos sogar störende Bildelemente.

Diese aus den Bild zu entfernen ohne es zu beschneiden, ist meist mit einem erheblichen Aufwand verbunden. Schneidet man Elemente aus dem Bild heraus, muss der Hintergrund oft aufwendig rekonstruiert werden.

Zusammenfassung

Das Jahr neigt sich schon dem Ende und es war still hier in den letzen Monaten.

Ich habe mich neben meiner alltäglichen Arbeit um die Weiterentwicklung von Joomla 1.6 gekümmert. Der Zeitaufwand war immens, aber es hat Spaß gemacht. Gerade dann, wenn man endlich, Licht am Ende des Tunnels sieht.

Zwischendurch habe ich mich auf der ein oder anderen Konferenz herumgetrieben, habe Vorträge gehalten, einen Preis für mein Beez Template bekommen(was mich übrigens sehr gefreut hat), Logos gestaltet , Websites gebaut, mit Wai Aria experimentiert, an meinem neuen Buch geschrieben und nebenbei bin ich auch noch zu einem netten Praktikanten gekommen.

Langsam wird es ein wenig ruhiger und ich kann wieder Luft holen und mich auf neue Projekte freuen.

Wieder da!!

Vier wunderbar erholsame Wochen liegen hinter mir. Ich hoffe, auch meine Leser und Kunden hatten einen schönen Sommer und ich hoffe, Sie haben mich nicht allzu sehr vermisst!

Joomla: Wie ist das mit der Kommunikation?

Die Joomla 1.6 Beta ist veröffentlicht, jetzt wird fleißig daran gefeilt und geschraubt. Schon in Joomla 1.5 habe ich mich an der Entwicklung beteiligt, war aber nur für das Template zuständig und hatte wenig Einfluss auf den Code und den Entwicklungsprozess als solchen. Bei der 1.6 war und ist das anders. Ich war und bin viel intensiver beteiligt und habe gerade in den letzen Monaten sehr viel gelernt.

Joomladay in Holland 2010

Joomla 1.6, Beez und der Stand der Dinge

Schon länger wartet die Community auf das neue Release von Joomla 1.6.
Besonders die neu implementierte Userverwaltung als auch das neue Kategoriensystem wird mit Spannung erwartet. Neben diesen technischen Neuerungen wird sich aber auch noch einiges andere ändern. Das Backend wurde ein wenig redesigned, neue Module entwickelt und der HTML-Output auf den neuesten Stand der Technik gebracht.

Meine Aufgabe war und ist hier die Implementierung standardkonformen Html-Codes und die Gestaltung des Beez - Templates.

Joomla 1.6, Beez and the conditions of the things

The Community is still waiting for the new release of Joomla 1.6.

Users are anxious to have Acl and the new category system. But some other things will be changed too. The backend has some changes, new modules have been added, and the HTML – Output changed.

I care about the output, the implementation of standards and the beez -template
